It was built in 1788 to house the new granary by mandate of Charles III of Spain. The former, built during the time of the Catholic Monarchs, was not enough. Once its function was finished, from 1899 it was used for several tasks. Court of Instruction, Municipal Library, military accommodation, primary school… Since 2000, it is a Health Centre.
The baroque marble façade is topped by a curved pediment in which the commemorative legend and the Arcos shield are located. You can also see a Sevillian artistic tile with the insignia of Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz.
