Barbate’s surroundings are a great option to visit due to its crystal clear waters and freshwater waterfalls. It lies close to the well-known Trafalgar Lighthouse, a place where the English and the Franco-Spanish troops faced each other in a battle.

This town is surrounded by many beaches where you can spend quality time. You can either go to urban beaches like Playa de Nuestra Señora del Carmen or to semi-virgin ones located in natural spaces like Playa de la Hierbabuena, in Parque Natural de la Breña (La Breña y Marismas Natural Park), the perfect spot to get away and explore the spectacular nature in this area.
