To access you have to walk from Zahara or Barbate to one of its two extremes. If you prefer to go by car, you can do it through one of the exits of the road and accessing half of Cañillos. Be careful, since it is a dangerous road.
It is a beach in an excellent state of natural conservation due, above all, to the military presence. One of the attractions most sought after by tourists are the retinto cows that walk along the shore.
Cañillos is ideal for water sports and fishing. Don’t forget that, being such an isolated and natural beach, it does not have any type of service or equipment. If you are looking for a pet-friendly beach, this is a great option (except in summer).
