You can also go kayaking, paddle surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, enjoy a sailboat cruise, urban bike routes, take strolls in the Genovés Park, or the Cádiz Bay and take guided tours in the old city. The Cádiz Carnival is a very popular festivity that takes place yearly from the 19th of February to the 1st of March. It attracts many tourists both from other cities in Spain but also from other countries. The city fills up with color, its people get dressed up and sing, in every street of the city, the traditional chirigotas (satirical choral folksong) and comparsas (a group of singers that sing comedy routines) that will leave you speechless.
