It was built in the 17th century, thanks to the contributions of benefactors and to the business trade with America.
The Baroque façade made out of Carrara marble stands out. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most beautiful ones in the Province of Cádiz. Inside, we must mention the Baroque altarpieces (17th and 18th century) and the carvings of Jesús Nazareno on the main altar.
In this convent, the nuns from the Agustinas Recolectas order cook their famous almond cake that we recommend to try. Finger-licking good!
