WHAT TO SEE IN CONIL?

Conil de la Frontera has a great variety of heritage to see. This municipality is located in an extraordinary place with a wide variety of beaches and coves of great beauty and natural quality, which are extremely well preserved. This means that Conil has a high amount of tourism every year.

Calas de Poniente, or commonly known as Calas de Roche, are located in the northern area. In this area you can also find the Calas del Quinto y Camacho, 3 kilometres of spectacular small coves. One of the most prestigious landscape places is Cala del Aceite, located in a fabulous natural environment.

There are also several natural and unspoilt beaches, beautiful natural areas of fine sand and crystal clear waters. Playa de Castilnovo, Playa del Puerco, Fuente del Gallo beach and Fontanilla beach. They offer kilometres of beach that can be enjoyed on foot or by bike.

In the town centre you can go to Playa de Roche, a semi-urban beach; and to Los Bateles beach, a city beach with high occupancy.

When wandering the streets you can find historical buildings of great cultural and historical value. Some examples are the Guzman Tower and various monuments, such as La Chanca and the Puerta de la Villa. The Santa Catalina Cultural Centre is also a place of interest that offers various tourist-cultural services that can be enjoyed with the whole family.
