Centro de Visitantes El Bosque is a museum and information centre of the Sierra de Grazalema, a place with its rugged terrain and varied beauty that every visitor is surprised with. It is currently managed by Turismo Rural Genatur SCA.
In Jardín Botánico Castillejo (El Castillejo Botanical Garden), one finds species representative of the flora of the Natural Park. The most common ones are those that are connected to the Mediterranean forest. The botanical collection features Spanish firs, the most important species of parks.
Although the Sierra de Grazalema is one of the rainiest parts of Spain, rivers are rare but life flows unceasingly. The passage of time and the daily work of our ancestors have shaped these landscapes and made to what we find today and know about at Centro de Visitantes El Bosque.
White villages of Andalusia are part of the natural park and this visitor centre is located in a unique beauty: El Bosque (Province of Cadiz). A wonderful place with homely environment where you will witness how people have managed to preserve the natural and cultural wealth of their way of life, customs and traditions.
It also deals with the use of natural wealth through cork, livestock or hunting. For the interpretation, panels, models, dioramas, computer tools or mechanical elements have been used. Thanks to them, visitors will be able to get to know interesting information.
