Playa de Santa Catalina, in El Puerto de Santa María, is a very wide beach of fine white sand without any rocks. Spending a pleasant day here is more than guaranteed.
It has an extension of 3 kilometres and is located next to Vistahermosa (name by which this beach is best known), Las Redes or El Ancla residential areas. You can access this beach through a walkway that crosses a small pine forest, which creates a very cosy atmosphere. There are also several accesses from the residential areas. Once past the pine forest, we access an area of dunes of ecological and landscape interest. Next to this beach we find a luxurious residential area with a golf course.
Also in summer you can practise water sports and active tourism, such as riding on jet skis or sailing.
While there is not much parking space and that its access is somewhat remote, the essence of this beach is its value in terms of nature and virginity. There is no promenade, nor tapas bars or restaurants, although it is true that in summer it is more crowded. However, it has some services such as toilets, Red Cross, showers, rescue equipment, litter bins, warning sign, cleaning and surveillance service.
On Playa de Santa Catalina you can spend a pleasant day. It is an ideal beach to enjoy a happy day with your family.
