Via Verde de la Sierra is a 36-kilometre-long rail trail conditioned for hiking, biking or horseback riding. It occupies an old railway line that has been prepared for recreational and educational use. From Puerto Serrano to Olvera, the rail trail offers infrastructure and facilities which make the visit easier, such as the old railway stations in Puerto Serrano, Coripe and Olvera. These have been rehabilitated and now function as tourist accommodation and restaurants.
