Casa Emilio Restaurant is located on Mina street, in Rota, for more than 35 years. Currently run by Domingo Figueroa and Rosa Arjona, they bet on high-quality fresh fish from the Bay since its opening.
On the menu you will find all kind of stews. Moreover, it stands out for offering an excellent homemade, traditional and local cuisine.
“Home cooking” or, as the cook herself says, “what she did in her house for five people, now she does it for as much people as needed”. That affection with which things are done at home is reflected on their menu and the familiar behaviour with clients.
The restaurant has recently moved to number 17 on the same street. The new place is modern and cosy, with an elegant interior heated dining room, decorated with marine motifs. In addition, there is a large terrace on the pedestrian street to enjoy the many days of good weather in Rota.
Apart from daily fresh fish and seafood, the menu includes seafood stews from the area, such as urta a la Roteña (“sea bream in the style of Rota”), exquisite premium meats, paellas and rice dishes. We recommend to have a look at the showcase, where customers can choose the piece they want.
Definitely, Casa Emilio is the perfect choice to eat in Rota and enjoy its fish and traditional recipes.
