The Garganta de Bogas corresponds to a spectacular karst canyon that cuts the arch formed by the surrounding mountains, draining its waters to the Guadalcacín reservoir. This cross section took place in times passed by the stream that runs through the gorge.
The Garganta de Bogas route is located in Llanos del Valle, between the Sierra de la Sal and the Sierra de las Cabras. This is one of the most important reliefs that are recognised in the Cadiz countryside. These sierras draw a very pronounced arch to the south of the Guadalcacín reservoir.
