The Ermita de San Sebastián (“Hermitage of San Sebastián”), in Setenil de las Bodegas (Province of Cadiz), is the first Christian building of the town after its reconquest at the end of the 15th century.
Of few dimensions, it is a temple of late Spanish Gothic style. During the siege, Queen Elizabeth gave birth to a premature son. He died a few hours after birth and was baptized as Sebastian. According to a popular legend, the invocation of the hermitage is due to this event.
