The Cemetery Castle and Walls of the Old Nasrid Fortress of Torre Alhaquime (province of Cadiz, Andalusia) make up the most important historical and cultural monument of the town.
Only part of the old fortress’ walls remains, of Nasrid style and built in the thirteenth century. Inside, it housed a cemetery that stopped being used a few years ago. It is currently a recreational area with beautiful views.
If you are around, it is worth visiting the house where the famous bandit José María el Tempranillo lived at some times of his life.
