La Purísima Concepción Parish Church, in Trebujena (Province of Cadiz), is the most important temple in the city. It has undergone several changes throughout its history.
Some place its origins in pre-Arab domination times. However, the current plant has its origin in a building from the 17th century from which it still preserves some elements, such as the Puerta del Perdón (“Forgiveness Door”). The building was completely modified between the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Inside La Purisima Concepcion Parish Church there are several altarpieces and statues, as well as a parish treasure with pieces of great value.
