Las Tres AveMarias Windmills (“The three Hail Marys Windmill”) were built to preserve the tradition of Vejer de la Frontera. This municipality has been always identified with the silhouette of this type of constructions.
You can take a guided tour to learn about the functioning of the mills. Taking different hiking routes around the mills is also a good plan while in this beautiful white town.
They are so well preserved thanks to the restoration carried out by the town hall of Vejer. Its interior houses the Wind Interpretive Centre.
