OUR GUIDE TO THE BEST BEACHES IN ESTEPONA

Estepona is a tourist town located in the province of Malaga, it is located between San Pedro de Alcantara and Marbella. Thanks to its location in the west of the Costa del Sol, it is a popular tourist destination due to its 21 kilometers of coastline.

On the shores of the Mediterranean, its long kilometers of coastline are divided into three zones: east zone, central zone and west zone.

According to their distribution, we can start with the 10 beaches that constitute the east zone.

Some of them are beaches with little tourist visit in high season. Others are distinguished for being magnificent bathing areas with a great sporting offer to enjoy the most fun activities in the sea of the Costa del Sol.

For fishing enthusiasts, you can enjoy dark sand beaches and an impressive vegetation area composed of dunes and pine forests of high ecological value.

They offer other services such as the proximity to large shopping centers, with an unlimited number of stores, leisure and restaurants.

Beaches that extend to the mouth of the Guadalmansa River, the Padron River and the Castor River to the Arrollo de las Cañas.

Located in stunning urban areas, the beaches of Estepona are adapted to all people providing special access for people with disabilities and are recommended for family vacations and for the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation outdoors and without crowds.

In the central area, only the La Rada Beach and the Cristo Beach stand out.

La Rada Beach is the most emblematic one of Estepona, of gray and fine sand, noted for its proximity to the town centre. It offers a wide variety of food in its beach bars, which in high season have background music and are open until late hours. In this beach, you can also practice water sports.

The small Cristo Beach is a perfect environment to enjoy with the family because it is a beach of calm and shallow waters and is protected by a breakwater.

In the west zone, are the last five beaches.

They provide an immense calmness that invites tourists and residents to relax on the sand enjoying the sun and the sea.

For scuba diving lovers, Arroyo Vaquero Beach and Bahia Dorada Beach are ideal places because they have rocks on the seabed and a large number of species can be spotted in its crystal clear waters.

In addition, for the more daring, Costa Natura Beach is a small cove where nudism is practiced.

Estepona has beaches awarded with Blue Flag, highlighting La Rada Beach, Cristo Beach and El Padron Beach for its peacefulness, comfort, cleanliness and services.
