WHAT TO VISIT IN RONDA

Ronda is a monumental city that is well worth a visit to, among other things, enjoy the unique landscape that “el Tajo” offers, a spectacular cut on a rock that forms the gorge through which the Guadalevín river runs, and that thousands of tourists see every day. There are always lots of people but, still, it is a quiet place that maintains its special charm.

The city is located near the natural space of Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park where you can enjoy its wonderful landscapes and leisure activities. Ronda is also located near the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, another natural environment with magnificent nature and fauna with large spaces. In the same city, we find Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge that extends over the gorge. There is a viewpoint with a view. Along the Guadalevín, this is a visit that you cannot miss due to its characteristics.

As for historical buildings, of course, the Mondragon Palace of Ronda stands out. It houses the Municipal Museum with a permanent collection on the history of the town and examples of Roman and Arab tombs. You can also visit the Palace Gardens that offer a beautiful view over the Old Town. You cannot leave Ronda without seeing Puerta de Almocábar and the Arab walls or the Arab baths of Ronda.

In TUDESTINO we want you to get to know in-depth the culture and history that Ronda offers you.
