Muelle de Nueva York (“New York Dock”) is located on Paseo de las Delicias, in Seville, on the east bank of the Guadalquivir river. It passes by more than 700 metres from the San Telmo bridge to Los Remedios’.
Muelle de Nueva York was built in 1905. It was called like that because the ships that went to North America departed from here. After a project, it is decided to divert the Guadalquivir river to the west, due to frequent flooding. Thus, the river port moves to the south. The New York Dock is abandoned for some years, but after some remodelling it becomes a urban promenade.
Enjoy this quiet location in Seville city centre, where you can walk, ride a bike or chat with your friends. You can walk to the Parque de Maria Luisa from here and discover the magnificent Plaza de España, the Museum of Arts and Popular Customs of Seville, the Plaza de America and the Archaeological Museum of Seville.
