Here is an itinerary to visit these places in two days.
First Day
William & Humbert Winery
At this winery you will be able to visit the premises and its services, which include visiting the famous Sherry Girl and the equestrian facilities. Here you can enjoy this type of show, visit the oldest vintage room in the area or even enjoy a tasting with appetizers and lunch.
Lustau Winery
This winery has numerous awards as the best winery in Jerez, being the Most Awarded Spanish Winery. Its building has a cathedral style; therefore, it is unique when it comes to visiting its facilities. It can be visited on a guided tour that ends with a tasting of the winery’s wines.
Tabanco El Pasaje
Visiting Tabanco El Pasaje is a must on your visit to Jerez, as it is a unique and typical place. It is located in the city centre and is the ideal place to taste the local wines along with its traditional dishes or tapas and raciones. In addition, it offers flamenco shows on a daily basis.
Claustros de Santo Domingo
Built in the 15th century, it has a Gothic style although later elements belonging to the Plateresque style were added. Therefore, it has a great artistic value to which are added the exhibitions that are held there.
Enganche Museum
In this museum you can enjoy the most iconic carriages and thoroughbred horses related to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art.
Second Day
Municipal Archaeological Museum
To enjoy the history and culture of this museum you can consider it according to the time you have available, but it is recommended to visit it quietly visiting its thematic blocks.
Fundador Wineries
This winery is an important tourist attraction in Jerez, as it is home to the oldest winery in the city. You can enjoy a guided tour of the facilities, followed by the possibility of a tasting of its wines and brandies. You will also be able to see the signatures of great personalities.
Jerez Cathedral
This temple dates back to the 17th century, although it was built on the site of the city’s old mosque. Therefore, you can see various styles such as Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical.
Also, apart from visiting the chapels inside the Cathedral, you can visit the Cathedral Museum where you can admire works by Zurbarán or see the Corpus Christi processional monstrance.
Alcázar of Jerez
This is the oldest monument in Jerez, whose architecture is in the Almohad style. When you visit it you can find inside the Patio de Armas, the Camera Obscura, the Palace of Villavivencio and the baths, among other treasures.
San Miguel Church
This church was built from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Hence it is possible to contemplate different styles such as Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. Inside you will find different chapels and the main altarpiece.
Even if you have only had these two days, you will have visited and enjoyed the city to the maximum during your stay and you will surely discover places that you will want to visit again.
