Trebujena, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, is located in a spectacular and diverse natural environment. The urban nucleus stands out for its whiteness and its long and open streets, the liveliest being Larga Street. Plaza Mayor is the nerve centre of the city, where all important events are held. The baroque Parish Church of the Purísima Concepción (17th and 18th centuries) is located here, with the Puerta del Perdón and the valuable Christ of the Mercy (XVIII century) of Juan de Mesa school.

There is almost nothing left of the primitive castle. Only some canvases and battlements are preserved, which can be seen if we approach the old Food Market. The Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Palomares houses, in addition to the patron saint of the city, the Christ of Veracruz (15th or 16th centuries).

The wetlands located in its municipality have become an extraordinary area for birds, one of the most important in Andalusia.
