The “chiringuitos” or beach bars in El Puerto de Santa Maria, located at the beach front, are an authentic and fun mix between a bar, restaurant, pub and cafeteria. They are located so close to the sea that it allows us to hear its waves, to feel the breeze and to appreciate the salty essence.
It is usual to see them on the beaches, from Sotogrande to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Tarifa or Zahara de los Atunes. Year after year, they are operational during summer.
Most of them are usually removable. They are available, preferably, from March till the end of October, although some already work throughout the year. Many of these beach bars complement their activity with the rental of hammocks and umbrellas or Active Tourism activities.
They offer a delicious and varied menu of foods and drinks. Taste rice, salads, fish and grilled meats, barbecues and a wide range of tapas during lunchtime.
