It is a beach of fine golden sand, although it has some small rocks.
On this beach there are some areas with showers, footbath, surveillance and cleaning. These are the closest to the city. As you move away, the beach becomes more virgin. Despite this, it has numerous services. These include sanitary equipment, rescue equipment, loudspeakers, containers and bins, adapted WC and WC, hammock rental and sports area. It has access for people with reduced mobility in some of its sections.
You can also enjoy its restaurants along the promenade and beach bars in the dune area of Playa de Cortadura.
In some sections there are areas enabled to park cars, although we recommend you arrive early in summer to park or use public transport.
It is possible to surf almost throughout the year, since it has a fairly continuous swell. There you can find several surf schools to rent surfboards and practise this sport.
