The Roman Roads in Castellar (Calzada Romana) is a paved road of 4,7 kilometres. It runs from "La Jarandilla" area, at the beginning of the road leading to the old town, to the castle walls.
Of unknown origin, it could have served as a road to access the Roman settlement. This was located under the foundations of the current Muslim Castle.
Half way along the road and flanked by thickets, we come along a watchtower of this strategic point.
