There is a building from the 18th century popularly called “Casa de los Leones” (“House Of The Lions”). It is named like this because of the reliefs of this animal found on the pilasters that frame the façade. It is one of the most characteristic of the civil architecture of the Baroque Cadiz examples.
Also known as “House of the Placilla” because of where it is located, this is a typically shopping area next to the Market of El Puerto de Santa María.
