Bodegas Williams & Humbert, in Jerez de la frontera, have one of the largest winery facilities in Europe, has received the National Architecture Prize and are part of the rich Andalusian historical heritage. Founded in 1877, it is the only winery in Jerez that offers an Equestrian Show within the visiting fee, without additional costs. Undoubtedly, one of the great wine tourism references in the city of Jerez de la Frontera.
This winery has the PREDIF of ACCESSIBLE TOURISM accreditation. This has been awarded for working on the accessibility of all its facilities and services. You will be able to see the life-size VIRTUAL DIORAMA of the famous Sherry Girl, the Equestrian Facilities (12,000 sqm), the oldest and most complete Wine Room in Jerez of wines certified by the Regulating Council from 1920 to the current year and the indoor equestrian track of the winery where the “Canasta al Compás” shows take place, among many other attractions.
It is currently a Jerez-owned company in the hands of the Medina family. Concerned about the environment and nature, 17 different species of birds from around the world live on its gardens, thanks to an agreement with the Jerez Zoo for its care, conservation and reproduction.
The visits to its facilities include:
- Tasting of 3 wines + snack
- Equestrian show included in fee, without extra cost on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year, and the months of January, March, April, May, June, September, October and November: from Tuesday to Saturday, at 12 noon
- Several languages of visits: Spanish, German and English. Others: On request.
