Tabanco Plateros is located in one of the most beautiful and popular places in the old town of Jerez de la Frontera (Spain). This tavern tries to combine the traditions of typical tabancos (tavern – bar) with the new vision of modern wine bars.
At Tabanco Plateros you can find a great variety of Sherry wines of Cooperativa de las Angustias cooperative from Jerez. These are served in a so-called catavinos (wine tasting glass) or filled up according to the customer’s request. Wines go with cheese from the province of Cadiz and typical cold tapas. They are served on plates made by an artist from Jerez.
Vermouth is served in a traditional Vermouth siphon. This way, Tabanco Plateros are pioneers in making this drink popular again, as in many other cities in Spain.
They have a good selection of typical and traditional tapas, like Payoyo cheese, cured meats, roast beef, black pudding or other food you will find in the menu.
Stop by and discover the real Jerez.
