If you like diverse natural spaces, visiting the province of Cadiz will be your best choice. The environment of the province is very rich and varied: beaches, lakes, dunes, estuaries, cliffs, caves, marshes, countryside and mountains.

They are so important that they cover large protected areas, such as the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, Los Alcornocales Natural Park , Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, La Breña y Marismas del Barbate Natural Park, Doñana National Park and El Estrecho Natural Park. As we see, all the Natural Parks in the province of Cadiz present a wide diversity: the parks in the coast, in the mountain range or in the marshlands converged.

Among the Natural Areas which are different from the parks mentioned above we find, among others, the Playa de los Lances Natural Park. Here, large numbers of birds of different types are found, waiting for good wind conditions to cross to Africa. We also find the Cola del Embalse Natural Area, in Arcos, an ideal place during the winter to admire the osprey and the Mallard.
