Playa de Bonanza, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, is located next to the Guadalquivir River. It is a small beach, very familiar and cosy, full of fishing boats.
This beach that borders the fishing port has golden and fine sand, with some shells on its shore but no rocks. There are some small dunes and beautiful views of the river that flows into the town.
There are no beach services; that is, no showers, no cleaning, no surveillance. However, there are wastebaskets and anchorage. By the way, Playa de Bonanza is pet friendly!
Surfing is not possible on this beach, although you can practise paddle surfing thanks to the tranquility of its waters.
Just before entering the beach, there are lands where you can park. Although they are not car parks, those are perfect to park when going to the beach. They are accessible for people with reduced mobility since, despite not having a ramp to enter, the beach and the entrance are at the same level. Therefore, you can reach the shore without any obstacle.
Although there are no beach bars on Bonanza beach, you will find many restaurants along the street that runs parallel to the beach. Eat, have a fresh beer at noon or drink a glass of manzanilla wine, made in the wineries of the town.
